For my webventure, I really wanted to focus on something that would be comedic for the class and to my friends and family. With a focus on modern society, I wanted to tap into something that everyone goes through at some point in their life — a break up. Especially in college, it can be really hard to figure out what you should do after someone breaks up with you, and more often than not, people end up making decisions that are not in their best interest. I made the scenario about a boyfriend cheating on you to emphasize the idea of focusing on yourself and not the ex boyfriend. To avoid being too serious or emotional, I kept a theme of memes throughout the webventure to keep it light hearted and fun. Most of the ideas I had for the different options were based on actions that I commonly see in people my age when they go through a break up and I wanted to do this so that it could be relatable for a broad range of people. Even if you have not gone through a super serious break up yourself, it can be painful to watch your friends make some pretty bad decisions in regards to their exes. I had a lot of fun creating this webventure and bouncing ideas off of my friends to add to the humor. I hope that it was a fun journey and you got a laugh out of it!
